I am SO EXCITED about this Sunday. What an opportunity we have to reach out
to our community in the name of Jesus Christ!

A couple of reminders:
1.  CHURCH STARTS AT 10:00 AM at the Old Apple Festival Grounds.

2. The hamburgers, hotdogs, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mustard, ketchup, and
pickles/ relish will be furnished by the church. 

3. The Church will also provide plain tea, sweet tea, lemonade and water as
well as all paper goods.

4. WHAT'S NEEDED: We need people to bring chips and anything that might go
well with the hamburgers/hotdogs. (Fruit, Dessert, etc.) 

5. We also need help Saturday evening around 6:30 PM at the church to cut,
slice and dice items for burgers and hotdogs. We also need some strong backs
to begin loading the tables and chairs. 

6. We have about 130 chairs. so we encourage you to bring your lawn chairs
like you did last month if your able.

7. Special thanks to Deer Creek Camp for loaning us their heavy duty AC
Units. 

8. Most of all I want to encourage you to pray for this ministry opportunity
as we literally take church to the streets.  I'd encourage you to continue
to pray along the lines as we did a couple of years ago with the "40 Days of
Purpose Program." This prayer acronym spells out the word PURPOSE. Let's
continue to remember God's purpose in all this: For People to come to the
Lord and for Him to receive all the glory.

Preparation
- For God to prepare our hearts for whatever HE wants to do.
-For spiritual preparation of the Pastor and People
-That God would provide the energy for everything that needs to get done.
Understanding
- That our praise and worship be a sweet fragrance to God.
- For God to give insight to each person as to how he or she can help

Results
- That the harvest will be plentiful
- that those who are spiritually lost will come to a saving knowledge of
Jesus Christ.
- For lasting, eternal fruit in transformed lives. 
Protection
- For divine protection against spiritual warfare for our church  
- For physical protection and good health for all leaders and participants.
- For protection against distractions, worries, problems, and concerns    
Overflow of provision
- That God will provide the needed volunteers to make this event successful.
- That God will provide our church with all the resources needed   
- That God will provide unity in our church.   
- That our prayers will touch the fuse of God's power and we will see
spectacular things happen  
Spiritual Growth
- That God's guidance will deepen our church's faith and prayer life.
- That each person in our church will be challenged to grow spiritually and
experience God's plan for living a transformed life.
- That all participants would surrender fully to doing their part to fulfill
the Great Commission and the Great Commandment in
         their generation.
Enormous Glory
 - That each person who is touched by God's grace during this event would
remember to give
         God the praise and Glory.
