I just found out that Jo Alden is in Sid Peterson Hospital. She's in room
457 and has Cellulites in her leg. She could be in the hospital for up to a
week. I'll let you know what I find out later.

I also have a friend from a previous church I served who is undergoing Chemo
therapy. His name is Kevin Housely. For more information you can look below.

Also. if you haven't signed up to have your picture taken for the pictorial
directory, call or email Lu Harrision
maluhwb at hctc.net (830) 589-2280 or Loni Culp culp_ilona at yahoo.com (830)
589-7361. Pictures will be taken THIS Tuesday and Wednesday.

Don't forget that THIS SUNDAY is FEAST and FELLOWSHIP (Potluck)

Finally, don't forget to set your clocks up an hour as you go to bed on
Saturday. Don't want you to be late for church.

Kevin has started the new chemo regimen. He takes several pills every night
and will be receiving the 1st dose of IV chemo tomorrow, Thursday, March 6th
at noon. Please be praying for the chemo to kill every cancer cell. The
pills Kevin takes at night are to stop blood vessel growth. Without blood
supply this should kill the cancer cells and stop tumor growth. The tumor is
growing into the speech center of Kevin's brain, but I have seen a slight
improvement in his speech, so I believe the tumor is dying. Praise God!

Jessica and I went to the Endrocrinologist Monday and he confirmed that she
has a growth on one of her parathyroid glands. She will have to have this
removed surgically. We are consulting a surgeon in Tampa , Florida to have
the procedure done laprascopically, so she won't have a 2 1/2 - 3 inch
incision (and scar) on her neck. It will probably be into mid-April before
she will have surgery.

We are researching some alternative treatments for Kevin to go along with
the chemotherapy. Please pray for God's guidance as we explore other forms
of treatment. We remain faithful, and believe the scriptures. We know Kevin
will be healed. The last time I sent an update I included the following
scripture:

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it
shall eat the fruit of it (for death or life). Proverbs 18:21

The reason I include this scripture is because the Lord brought it to me
again today. I don't think it was coincidence that both of my daily
devotionals, one on-line and one from a book I read from each day, both
spoke of this scripture. Please speak LIFE and remember your words are very
powerful! We are blessed to have so many praying for our family. We are
grateful for your faithfulness. Be blessed - Vicki Housley
